Hitcents Founders Receive Prestigious Entrepreneurship Award from Murray State University

Murray, Ky. – Apr. 10, 2008- Hitcents founders Chris and Clinton Mills were named the winners of the third annual John Williams Telecommunications Systems Management Entrepreneurship Award. This award is presented to an individual or company that has started a Telecommunications System Management (TSM) related company or significantly expanded an operation in Kentucky or the Murray State University service area.

Hitcents was one of three businesses highlighted at an awards luncheon; other recipients included William W. Macgruder, CEO Duo County Telephone, for the Gene Wells Ray TSM Lifetime Achievement Award, Trevor R. Bonnstetter, CEO West Kentucky Rural Telephone, for the Dick Anderson TSM Leadership Award.

All of the award recipients were individually nominated, and reviewed by Murray State University staff.

Hitcents President Chris Mills said, “We are honored to receive this recognition from such a prestigious institution.” Clinton Mills, CEO of Hitcents says, “We work hard to maintain the highest level of service, creativity, and ingenuity. We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished in the past 9 years and appreciate this recognition of our achievement.”

Hitcents has utilized telecommunications since its inception in 1999 to produce new ideas and develop custom solutions for their clients. Hitcents website development team has produced over 100 websites and Hitcents is constantly looking for new ways to embrace technology. Hitcents has received eight SIAA Advertising awards, Adobe Site of the Day for bluecotton.com, and was ranked 191 of the 500 fastest growing companies by Inc Magazine
